訓練や実績を積み上げ、世界中からたくさんの支持を得ている素晴らしい表現者が、ある時突然に引退を余儀なくされる。
生きていければいいじゃないか、という人もいます。しかし、私達演奏家にとって「思い通りに演奏ができなくなる」という事の重大さは、あなたの想像を遥かに超えています。
あなたは息をせずに暮らせと言われたらどう思うでしょうか？

彼の珠玉の即興演奏の数々に触れ、私は一旦絶望していた演奏者としての活動に大きな希望の光を見出すことができ、現在も自由な表現を続けることができています。
演奏は師匠のそれに比べて足元にも及ばないレベルですが、私はこの生命がある限り、彼が与えてくれた「リアルタイム即興演奏」の可能性をこれからも自由に表現し続けながら、精進していきたいと強く希望しています。

本公演では、セカンドライフ仮想世界において私の即興表現にいち早く公演の機会を与えて下さって以来、10年にも及び毎月の定期公演を開催くださっているGrandblueから、彼に捧げる演奏を改めて心を込めて送り出したいと思います。

第5回目の公演でようやく使用する楽器が彼と同じSteinwayのConcert Grand Pianoとなったことも、併せてご報告を申し上げます。

Second Life、そしてYouTubeで土曜の夜にお時間を拝借できましたら幸いです。ステージディレクションご担当のKerupa Flowさんも即興で演出効果の表現を共演してくださいます。そちらもぜひご期待ください。

A great artist with a lot of training, a lot of achievements, and a lot of support from all over the world is suddenly faced with retirement.
Some people say, “Why don’t you just live? However, for us performers, the gravity of “not being able to perform as we wish” is far beyond your imagination.
How would you feel if you were told to live without breathing?

His many gems of improvisation have given me a glimmer of hope in my once hopeless career as a performer, and I am able to continue to express myself freely.
Although my performance is not even close to that of my teacher, I strongly hope to continue to devote myself to the possibility of “real-time improvisation” that he has given me as long as I have this life, while continuing to express myself freely.

Since he was the first to give me the opportunity to perform in the virtual world of Second Life, Grandblue has been holding regular monthly performances for the past 10 years, and I would like to send out a performance dedicated to him with all my heart.

I would also like to report that for the 5th concert, I finally used the same Steinway Concert Grand Piano as he did.

I hope you will be able to spend some time with us on Saturday nights in Second Life and on YouTube. Kerupa Flow, who is in charge of stage direction, will also perform with me in an improvised expression of stage effects. Please look forward to it as well.
